For all those history fans, Christie’s has offered one of the rare opportunities to own one of the rarest artifacts - a Roman bronze helmet complete with face mask. Discovered by an anonymous metal detector in Cumbria, this “discovery of a lifetime” has been named the Crosby Garrett Helmet. Dating back to the 1st-2nd century AD, the helmet features a youthful male face with wavy hair along with never-seen-before griffin crest. Expected to fetch £300,000, Christie’s will display the helmet at its London salerooms for the first time today ahead of its sale next month.

According to the new reports, the Nokia N8 will start shipping in late September however, there’s a soother before you lose patience. In order to promote the N8 and to show off its HD video capabilities, Nokia has hired the super sexy Pamela Anderson to film ‘bedroom scene’ with a with Nokia promo competition winner. This rare and hot opportunity is part of Nokia’s short-film promo, entitled The Commuter, which will also star Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick. Obviously, you are going to enter the competition to at least see what it feels like stepping into Tommy Lee’s shoes, for once.

After iPhone 4’s beautification process, the folks at ColorWare, known for making gadgets look pretty, have come up with an embellishment idea to make RIM’s BlackBerry Torch 9800 to go wild and flashy. The facelift seems to meet the changing wants and needs of some gadget-happy consumers, who would love to see a fresh air in the usual BlackBerry design. Contrary to what was expected from RIM’s new addition, ColorWare’s treatment would at least make the Smartphone look a less ‘familiar’ BlackBerry.

However, in some other news there are rumors that Apple is working on a new hardware design to fix the issue. The alleged announcement has come from Marco Quatorze – the Director of VAS at Tecel. Anyways, for the time being it’s just the HDR Photos, HD Video uploading and GameCenter that would bring some smiles to all those disgruntled users.

The animated suit sewed with LED lights generates amazing light effects using a Wi-Fi from an iPhone app developed by him. He conceals all the wiry gadgetry comprising a microphone and accelerometer using specially designed gloves.
