The BMW case is important because India wants to know whether public sentiments can deviate the course of natural justice towards something that can be best called as a trial by media. It appears that Sanjeev had been particularly targeted and found guilty of culpable homicide simply because he was a rich guy.

Why are we accusing media here? No Media trial is going on. Law is same for everyone. Sanjeev is getting punishment for his deeds. And it should be done.
