Should the ban on medical use of contraband drugs be removed?
# The World Health Organization estimates that 4.8 million people a year with moderate to severe cancer pain do not receive appropriate treatment nor do another 1.4 million with late-stage AIDS.
# Narcotics incites fear: doctors fear addicting patients, and law enforcement officials fear drug crime.
# Pain experts argue that it is cruel to deny dying patients drugs made from contraband products. Those who recover can mostly be weaned off.
# Six countries ‘ the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Britain and Australia ‘ consume 79 percent of the world’s morphine, according to a 2005 estimate.

No I completely disagree that the ban on MORPHIN should be removed because youngsters those who consume numerous other banned drugs like COREX, Nitrosun 10, SPAS etc...etc. drugs to get intoxicated can misuse the drug.

In addition,I don’ think that MORPHIN is also completely banned because some hush-hush sources says that the pure form of the drug in injections is also available and and our drug addict youngsters still use it to get heavy kick of intoxication.

On the other hand if we talk about the benefits of the drugs to cure disease I think the drug should be prescribed to the needy patients but sans medical prescription the drug should be completely banned.

And if we look ahead to remove ban on the drug I think for this we have to frame very strict set of rules for the chemists, and if any one is caught selling MORPHIN or all other banned drugs too as mentioned above without medical prescription I think his license should be canceled and he should be prosecuted.
