Is Geert Wilders’ Anti-Islam film an outcome of Fear?
# Anti Koran film by a Dutch lawmaker that accuses the Koran of inciting violence has been released but no Dutch public or commercial television station is willing to broadcast.

# Anti-Koran film serves no purpose other than to cause offense; it doesn’t highlight the Islam’s treatment of women but only widening the religious gap.

# Anti Koran film can ignite the kind of religious and racial tensions it saw after an Islamic militant killed director Theo Van Gogh in 2004 over a film he made accusing Islam of condoning violence against women.

# The film warns that the rising number of Muslims in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe threatens democratic societies and urges Muslims to tear out ‘hate-filled’ verses from the Koran.

It is just another step to create gap between Islam and other religions. What is the need of making such anti-religion films? Would Christians living in western countries accept such kind of anti-Christian movie? Stop such nonsense..

The movie 'Fitna' was launched by Geert Wilders on his Freedom Party's Website (www.pvv.nl). the website crashed just after the launch of the movie but viewers can see the film on a file-sharing Website in English and Dutch languages.

Islam does not mean Al-Musoloman. Muslim can be said as the last group of Islam. Islam has the sries of groups such as Al-Inzil, Al-Zabuur, Al-Tauohrat, Jews Al-Yahudy/Ehudy, Al-Hind Hindu. And Koran is the last version of Islam. When people see it with different views - Arabic and European Cultural views- the problem begins. Arabic Muslims hate Christians but they hate different sects of Muslims too.

Finally an individual takes stand against the Islamic violence. The film maker has every right to speak about any theory. No one from Islamic countries say anything when Islamic terrorists talk about their jehad against western countries. USA is equally responsible for the rise of islamic terrorism because it helped Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to establish Islamic jihadists against Soviet Union. Do criticise the role of USA too in such films..

I am a Muslim but I do support the efforts of Geert Wilders. We should take his remarks on Koran just to remove obscene, illogical, unmoderated and abusive content from Koran. I am ready to help Geert Wilder in the holy work by indicating such verses or suras to him.

I wonder why do Muslims always oppose anything said against Koran or the religion. they should accepts the evils in the religion. Sixty percent of all Muslims in the world cannot read or write, they are illiterate and have never been read the 'holy book' of Islam.

Geert Wilders is a real Hero. He has said it correct about Islam and Koran, Koran says nothing about religious tolerance and orders the fanatics to practice it dangerously. Islamic fanatics are the most dangerous threat to freedom and humanity on the earth.

Let me ask one simple question here - If Islam talks about peace and harmony and all Muslims are such a great people, why don't they criticise Muslims like Osama Bin Laden. It doesn't happen because Muslims do what Koran says them to to do. I would change my opinion if one Islamic group criticise Al Qaeda or Taliban.

Geert's step is encouraging for those who are fighting against Islamic terrorism. Educated people are now speaking against the Islamic fanatics. Holland has always made contributions to free thinking and open debate. Great going Geert...

People just hate Geert Wilders because he believes in speaking truth. Wilders speaks against politicians who have done wrongs in public life. The Muslims better know that they have a backwards culture and Wilders keeps telling them the truth. making such film is bold step.

Fear of what? If it is the fear of radical Islamic ideology taking over the liberal values of the Netherlands in particular and the West in general then his fears are not unfounded. There are genuine concerns within the Western societies about preserving our own liberal values that has no place in radical Islam.

If you meant Islamophobia as the reason for the anti-Quran movie then it is untrue.

It is just another way to hurt the religious sentiments of the Muslims. By doing such things as publishing cartoons of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and making such hate videos Westerners are further antagonising the Islamic world. This will give rise to even more terrorism.

Due to what happened in the last two years in Denmark, Denmarkians have become targets of extremists. Do you understand the damage you are doing by such activities?

Most certainly not. It is just an attempt to speak one's mind out on a subject a person is passionate about and where his country gives him the freedom to do so.

Muslims will never realise how passionate we are about our freedom to express ourselves that has no place in their society. Lame excuses had been made by Islamic extremists from time to time to undermine this fundamental right that we enjoy in the West. From Rushdie to Wilder's we have witnessed violence and militant opposition from the Islamic world. Even the Wikipedia was not spared.

This is the only way to show to the blinded-by-hatred followers of Islamic tenets that they have to change in order to be accepted into the mainstream world. The world rejects their radical ideology and valueless but bloody beliefs.

Yes. Christians the world over are scared of Islamic Jehad. It seems to be the Crusades again.
