machines vs humansYES

# Humanity is on the brink of advances that will see tiny robots implanted in people’s brains to make them more intelligent.

# Merger of humans and machines would eventually help people to keep them healthy and improve their intelligence.

# We’re already a human machine civilisation; we use our technology to expand our physical and mental horizons and this will be a further extension of that.

NO

# People should draw a line between Si-fi and real life, if this happens it would mean intelligent machines displacing humans.

# It’s very hard to predict that how many of us would like to be part of this civilization.

# This Technology will ultimately underestimate the unimaginable complexity of human physiology, intelligence, consciousness, and emotion.

Humans should remain microchip-free in enhancing his memory and intelligence.

The intricacy of the human design will be lambasted should there be any foreign object attached to our brain.

We are not robots and should not be experimented on like the lower kinds of animals. We have rational characteristics compared to other living things.

Machines have no brains and only rely to the capacity of mankind in creating better memory that they can imitate through programmable activities.

Men and machines are never co-equals!

Firstly, let the machines come with human-level intelligence, its too far.

Why not, it is also possible, may take some time. After all, technology rules the world.

@ Bhagaban, who says technology rules the world? its the human mind always rules the world by creating technology. making such machines with human level intelligence is a dream.

Isnt it time that we drew a line between nature and technology? A human mind which gave birth to robots doesn’t need to be substituted by the mechanical being as its far too superior!

Dear Emi,

You are right. Human mind always rules the world. But, don’t forget the sense of attachment we have developed towards technology. Gone are days when human beings used to take pride, for a tiny thing they had made by paining their brains. Now, everything is so digitalized that we are looted out of the creativity; it does not matter where we apply. No doubt, it is the human who invented the technology, worked over it overnight, but the intense use of technology has made us slavery. It is the reality, either you or I can not avoid.

Don’t we already have a whole breed of humans who are nothing but machines? Well, if you cast a good look around your own neighbourhood you will find a plenty of these non-human intellectuals who are too high on intelligence but drastically low on emotions and other essential traits of humanity. They take pride in working like machines, but yea, we have to admit that they ARE technologically correct.

So, the million dollar question here is — If we can tolerate these robot-like humans, why not embrace the machines themselves? In fact, the machines will be better because their role will be clear n well-defined.

I may sound a bit out of context here, but if you close your eyes and let your brain take on for a couple of minutes, you will realize that we are already surrounded by these robotic personalities. They are there in every corner of this world, singing their own song of technology and doing their best to distance themselves from nature and natural human traits.

I’m game to live with the machines.

P.S. A word of caution for the CREATORS of these robo-human concept — ”PLEASE DON’T TRY TO PUT ANY ELEMENT OF EMOTIONS IN YOUR PROTOTYPE, OR ELSE WE WILL BE DESTINED TO SUFFER A HEAVY BACKLASH OF ROLE REVERSAL.”

That would be pretty remarkable...i have always thought of living the Matrix dream and while it is abt the "human-level-intelligence" this doesn't scare me one bit.

By infusing ”Artificial Intelligence” into machines, we’ll risking our lives. Machines are good as Slaves and if we allow them to be our Master, the end is near...

Will machines get smarter or are we going to get dumber?

what ever the answer to this Q is, i think this world is going to be ruled by the Machines even if we think this should not happen. we are aiming fast and advanced Technological advances for we need to get fast and advanced. In this quest i think we sometimes lost moral grounds and sometimes lost the target and debate has always changed its course whenever we talk future of our Tech advances. this time too it is the same case. Humans and machines are existing together and will exist together(whether we like it or not)

The way I see it, when we get to that point we better treat them as friends, not slaves or the end will be far faster and nearer.

this is mere the fiction of mind. robots and the machines could not exit without men. there is no artificial intelligence available at the moment but I am not doubtful about the intelligence of humans however, there couldn't be a world for the robots alone and they simply can't work or function independently so the co-existence is and will indispensable, beyond doubt.

no noway computers and machines may be smart but after all it's human mind that is functioning... the programs that make them run is human creations so how can they exist without human brain. robots may be taking all of the labors and difficult jobs but the robots will still need programmers debuggers and repair men.

no just don't let them be your masters and if that will happen we will be creating our own foe. but don't you mind this is too early a perception and nothing of the genre is gonna happen because the creator can't be taken into control or enslaved as we could not take god under our control to get all our wishes executed. isn't it?????? but still beware, they can be destructive...

most of the machines, computers...robos and all are dependent on power and once there is power failure there is no other life giving elixir. So it will be a long, long, time before they replace workers but the power of science you know!!! once they will do it men will be at bay.

yea why to question. machine should stay with humans, for there should be someone intelligent one to guide them or make them function and there is no doubt that machines will ever take over man because one who can create can destroy it as well but they are affecting humans for sure. with their encroachment in human life, they're taking the human fatigue and jobs away but humans can never be dependent on them.
